Guadalajara’s international airport is only 35 minutes north of Lake Chapala. Daily and weekly tours all over Mexico and beyond are available through many groups, and the more adventurous may chose to go out exploring and trekking on their own. For those who want to stay closer to home, the area abounds with sites to visit and/or explore.
